It’s getting to be that magical time of year again when people show how creative they can be with snow. Every February, Lake Towada hosts the largest snow festival in the Tohoku region. Keep reading to see some of the magic from the Lake Towada Winter Story Festival over the last three years.
The Lake Towada Winter Story Festival features a wide variety of attractions, from shamisen performances to local food and fireworks. All while surrounded by a beautiful snowy scene.
One of the most famous things at the festival is the snow bar. Enjoy your favorite drink from an ice glass or carved-out frozen apple while appreciating the craftsmanship of the snow sculptors.
I also recommend going early to check out more of the area.
Make your own memories at Lake Towada Winter Story Festival from Friday, February 3rd to Sunday, February 26th. Email your pictures and feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org.
