Autumn/Winter Haiku

By Anonymous

golden laughter heard
warm with love and promises
chrysanthemums bloom

caress of crisp air
erodes my memory of you
whilst leaves swirl around

By winter’s first frost
the fragility of my heart
no longer exists

adhere to me, you
said, cloaked in soft snow. the world
simply melts away
